From the President of French Polynesia

On behalf of the people of French Polynesia, I am happy to share with you the success and progress of Air Tahiti Nui and the opportunities for our future. As an island nation in the Pacific, we recognized long ago that we must manage our own destiny and develop a plan to create a progressive business climate leading Tahiti to becoming economically self-sustaining. Through this vision, the creation of an international airline has provided Tahiti with the opportunity to broaden our investment and open relationships with new trading partners in many of the world's most important economic markets.

In addition, our carefully planned route structure and schedules create a more stable environment to promote and expand our important tourism market. We look forward to the introduction of non-stop flights from Tahiti to our new destinations of New York and Sydney in July 2005.
